How Much Do You Approve of your Spouse?
When love’s embrace evolves into a commitment called marriage, hearts soar with anticipation to introduce “their better half” to the beloved parents and the cherished family circle. Yet, beneath the excitement lies a subtle anxiety, as they ponder whether their chosen soulmate will be embraced with open arms by their loved ones.
However, I believe the real focus should be on how far these two lovebirds can really go with their approval of each other.
When People in love approve of each other, it’s usually based on what they see of each other today, and not what they may see tomorrow, and that can be a bit tricky because people can be full of surprises. People will always change for the better or worse.
When you personally approve of someone with the intention of getting married to the person, do you only approve of them because of who you think they are, and believe they will always be to you, or do you approve of them based on WHO YOU WILL ALWAYS BE TO THEM regardless of the unexpected changes that may occur in their lives?
Marriage is not a difficult place to be, on the contrary, those who got married because they have Unconditional Love to give always find it fulfilling, but one thing you can’t rule out is that it is a place that will also challenge you, and everything you think you know about life. It is actually a wonderful place that will help you to grow up.
While some may perceive marriage as a foolish pursuit, particularly among the intellectually inclined, they often succumb to the view that if things don’t align perfectly with their expectations, it’s deemed a failure. Perhaps that’s why a significant number of them find themselves divorced in modern times.
However, it is vital to recognize that the essence of marriage transcends mere intelligence. It requires the wisdom that surpasses human understanding, the divine wisdom that emanates from God. It is this sacred wisdom that enables certain individuals to endure through the darkest storms within their marital journey and emerge victorious, turning their once tumultuous union into a sublime taste of heaven.
